This week, the agent era went enterprise and planetary — Box CEO Aaron Levie laid out why every agent needs a content layer, NVIDIA pitched inference at planetary scale ahead of GTC, and Turbopuffer rethought search from the ground up. Perplexity launches “Computer” agent — A multi-model system orchestrating 19 AI models for complex enterprise workflows, unveiled at its inaugural Ask 2026 conference. Also announced “Personal Computer” — dedicated software running on a Mac mini.
Meta acquires Moltbook — The Reddit-style social network built for AI agents to autonomously post and interact. Co-founders join Meta Superintelligence Labs. The deal drew scrutiny after Wiz found the platform had exposed its entire production database and tens of thousands of emails — raising questions about whether this is agentic-web infrastructure or bubble-era acqui-hire.
Claude flips the enterprise AI market — In February 2025, ChatGPT held 90% of US business AI subscriptions. A year later, Claude commands nearly 70%. Opus 4.6 found 14 high-severity Firefox bugs in two weeks — almost 20% of all high-severity bugs patched in Firefox in 2025.
